LAIKA

1957. We are in Moscow, at the height of the Cold War and the space race.

Laika is a wee dog who somehow survives on the frozen city streets. Never would she have dreamed that her destiny might carry her into space in the Sputnik II spacecraft, that she would go down in the history of humanity as the first living being to orbit the Earth.
