Midway between ephemeral architecture and pictorial choreography, the earth is expressed plastically.
“Tierra Efímera” (“Ephemeral Earth”) plays with the fusion between painting and film, animation and choreography, shadow puppetry and graphic creation. Through a sheet of fabric arise a multitude of graphic sequences, tracing a fresh, ephemeral narrative of shapes and silhouettes.
Spontaneous compositions appear, inspired by the earth’s elements, colours and pace. Viewers are drawn into a succession of scenes that play with shadows, lights and tools.
A single unique material, earth: projected, caressed, scattered, erased, traced and deployed on a screen, which becomes a gigantic desk.
